What is Parasailing

Parasailing is a sport of the early 80’s that consists of using a parachute inflated by the wind and towed by a motor boat. The speed of the boat and the wind allow the passenger to rise into the air and reach the desired height to enjoy a breathtaking view.

HOW THE ACTIVITY TAKES PLACE

The activity takes place on the Amalfi Coast, specifically in Amalfi. Departure is at 9 a.m., 12 p.m., 3 p.m. or 6 p.m. where, together with the group of passengers, you will board the boat and reach the point where you can soar and enjoy a unique panorama and admire the Amalfi Coast from an extraordinary and unique perspective.

An instructor and skipper will give you a short briefing to explain how to do this and the safety measures to follow. You will need to put on your harness and sit on the flight deck to begin the adventure.

The flight will last 15 minutes and you will rise to a height of 100 meters. For the return, the skipper will take you back to the boat, landing you gently on the flight deck.

You can experience single, double or triple flight as several people can fly together to share this exciting moment.

WHO IS THE ACTIVITY FOR

Parasailing in Amalfi is an activity for everyone: you must be able to swim and be in good health. For safety reasons, people who have respiratory problems or heart disease, are blind or cannot hear, are pregnant, weigh more than 135 kg, have motor difficulties or cannot walk/stand up independently or who cannot hold on to the equipment with both hands cannot participate.
Minors (18-) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at the meeting point who will sign a written consent. The minimum age requirement is 8 years and older and all participants under 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult on the tour who will participate in the activity.

You can decide to experience the ride solo, as a couple, with a group of friends, with your family, or to celebrate a bachelor or bachelorette party. Two or three people can fly together depending on the combined weight and wind conditions. The combined weight of participants must not exceed 200 kg.
