WHAT IS THE TANDEM PARAGLIDER
The paraglider is a wing designed to allow the pilot to take off using leg thrust. It is characterized by the launch point along steep slopes such as mountainous ones. Paragliding, in fact, takes advantage of wind and height. The pilot maneuvers the wing through the suspenders connected to the ropes that act as handlebars. Its origins date back to the late ’60s and, today, it has become a real sport for which there are also competitions. Tandem paragliding is characterized by the presence of a certified instructor who steers the paraglider. In this way, the activity is safe for everyone and the passenger can enjoy the adrenaline experience without any worries.
HOW THE ACTIVITY TAKES PLACE
Paragliding with a view of Vesuvius takes place every afternoon at the meeting point indicated on the map, where you will be given the technical equipment and meet your instructor who will explain safety procedures, flight technique and everything you need to know about your adventure.
Once you are wearing the equipment, you will start the take-off together with your instructor and in flight you will have a privileged view of the Vesuvian plain surrounded by the mountains of the Campanian Apennines and the majestic Vesuvius to the Gulf of Naples.
Once landed, you can pick up the photo and video of your flight experience to relive those feelings every time you want (N.B. you must bring a Micro SD for Action Cam).

Paragliding is an activity for everyone as it does not require any physical preparation. You will always be well connected to the instructor and you just have to enjoy the adventure.
