WHAT IS SNOWSHOEING

Snowshoeing is a walk in the snow characterised by the use of snowshoes. These are special snowshoes attached to the foot only at the front of the boot, leaving the heels free. One also walks with the aid of snow poles to alternate with walking. Snowshoeing, in fact, is characterised by a movement very similar to cross-country skiing and is easy to practise as it does not require any particular physical preparation.

HOW THE ACTIVITY TAKES PLACE

Circular snowshoeing at Malga Vaglianella, Madonna di Campiglio begins at 2 p.m. at the meeting point indicated on the map.

After putting on your snowshoes and poles, which will be provided in your technical equipment, a short briefing on the activity and safety rules will follow.

The route is circular and begins at Passo Campo Carlo Magno, where you can admire the snow-covered forests, glades and pastures until you reach Malga Vaglianella.

Along the way you can learn about the local fauna and flora and immerse yourself in the sounds, colors and scents of the forest.
