What is ski touring

Ski touring is a sport that combines the technique of skiing with the desire to explore the landscape and get in touch with unspoiled nature and otherwise inaccessible fairy landscapes.

It consists of ascending on skis using only one’s own strength and descending by skiing.

The equipment involves the use of skis also used in ski mountaineering, equipped with bindings that allow the heel to be freed, from the “seal skins” applied under the skis, and poles, which must be sturdy and have a large caster.

HOW THE ACTIVITY TAKES PLACE

The lesson lasts 1 hour and is intended for both adults and children, beginners and those who want to improve their technique.

It represents an original way to get in touch with the truest nature and immerse yourself in a unique environment along breathtaking trails through the forests and pastures of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park.
