WHAT IS RAFTING
Rafting is a sport that consists of river descent on a particular inflatable called “raft“. It is practiced in rivers and streams where, thanks to the flow of water and the paddle, we are directed by overcoming natural obstacles such as rocks or rapids that the river presents.
HOW THE ACTIVITY TAKES PLACE
The Rafting Family on the Adda River in Valtellina starts at 11:00 a.m. or 4:00 p.m. at the meeting point indicated on the map, where you will be given the technical equipment and you can change in the changing room of the venue.
Then you will board the bus that will take you near the Adda River to start your adventure.
The Adda River is a 313 km long tributary of the Po River that flows from a limestone mountain complex in Val Alpisella, in the mountains of Alta Valtellina, in the Province of Sondrio.
This experience, to be shared with the whole family, will allow you to admire the natural beauty, history and landscape that characterize the course of the Adda River. At the end of the activity you can use the shower and the changing room.

WHO IS THE ACTIVITY FOR
Rafting in Valtellina is an activity of easy difficulty: it is suitable for everyone as no experience is necessary because you will be trained by qualified personnel who will accompany you throughout the adventure. Even children from 6 years old can participate.
