WHAT IS HORSEBACK RIDING
Horseback riding or equestrianism is a practice of horseback riding that allows people to ride to discover places surrounded by nature. It is a form of adventure tourism, similar to trekking or hiking.
In addition to the beauty of discovering the land, there are many benefits of horseback riding. Physical such as strength, balance, coordination and flexibility. Psychological such as awareness of the present moment, breathing, and last but not least, the unique connection that is created with the horse.
HOW THE ACTIVITY TAKES PLACE
The horseback riding in Val Rendena, Madonna di Campiglio starts at the meeting point indicated on the map.
Two types of tours are available depending on level:
- Horseback tour for experts: the experience begins at 9 a.m. with horse preparation and warm-up in the field. Then begins the walk along a route surrounded by nature and the beauty of Villa Rendena. During the walk there is an aperitif in the woods or meadow and then it continues until the return.
- Horseback riding tour for beginners: the experience begins at 10 a.m. with preparation of the horses, explanation on handling the horse on the ground and then from the saddle. Field trials are planned, and for the more courageous, a small assisted outing. At the end of the experience there will be an aperitif with products from the farm.
WHO IS THE ACTIVITY FOR
The horseback riding tour is an activity for everyone: it is suitable for both experts and beginners. You will always be accompanied by an instructor. The minimum age for the tour for experts is from 14 years old, for beginners, from 6 years old and up. It represents an ideal tour for couples, a group of friends or family.
