What is the canoe excursion in the Rio Novella Canyon
Canoeing in the Rio Novella River Park is a guided activity that takes place through a nature trail that winds for about 3.5 km in the municipalities of Cloz, Damel and Ramallo in Valle di Non on sit-on-top canoes, characterized by an open seat that prevents tipping.
HOW THE ACTIVITY TAKES PLACE
The activity starts at 9:00 a.m. or at 2:00 p.m. at the meeting point indicated on the map, where you will be given the technical equipment. After a brief theoretical lesson you will go with the instructor inside the fiords of Novella with a walk of 10 minutes in the woods, which will allow you to get in tune with nature.
You will then board the canoe. Along the way you can admire the unexplored gorge, which was formed over thousands of years by the flow of the river, and you will reach the gates of the Canyon, where you can enjoy a unique view and immerse yourself in the spectacular colors that only nature is able to give.
There will be small stops for diving between the rocks. On the way back you will have the opportunity to board a motor boat that will tow you and allow you to admire the Lake of Santa Giustina, Castel Cles and the Brenta Dolomites.
