Tour of Pompeii departing from Salerno

I recently booked a Pompei tour with Italy Adventure , and the entire experience was absolutely flawless. From the very beginning, the organization was top-notch. The **pick-up** was perfectly on time, the transport was comfortable, and the **drop-off** at the end of the day was seamless and stress-free. A special mention goes to our tour guide, who was simply perfect. she was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate, bringing the history of Pompeii to life rather than just reciting facts. Furthermore, the communication with the company before the tour was fantastic, they were always quick to reply and provided very clear, detailed, and helpful instructions. If you are looking for a hassle-free, highly professional, and deeply interesting tour of Pompeii, look no further. I highly recommend this company!

Fantastisk opplevelse! Flotte biler, fantastiske guider som gjorde opplevelsen enda bedre enn forventet. De svarte raskt på WhatsApp, så man følte seg veldig trygg. Kan virkelig anbefales!

We took this tour while on a cruise that stopped in Salerno. It was just what we were looking for as we didn't want to spend an entire day driving around. We walked off our cruise ship into town (a short 5 minute walk) and were picked up in a van that took us to Pompeii. We joined our tour guide at the entrance to the archeological site and were given a small earpiece that let us hear what was said by our guide. The audio quality was sufficient. We walked through the site hearing very interesting facts about what life would have been like almost 2000 years ago in this thriving city. We particularly enjoyed the forum, the baths and, of course, the lupanar. When the tour was over, we boarded the van which took us back to the cruise terminal. Very pleased with tour and would recommend it if what you're looking for is a simple tour of Pompeii that's convenient from a cruise ship.

Well organized tour. Our bus driver picked us up close to our Cruise ship at the Salerno Port. He took us to Pompeii and handed us over to our extremely knowledgeable guide. Great day out.

I booked my friends and I a guided tour of Pompeii including transportation from Salerno through Italy Adventures. They were fantastic liaising with me frequently and ultimately moving the pick up point to right outside my Airbnb instead of a 20 minute walk away. The driver was excellent and they ensured we were accompanied until hand off to the Pompeii guide and the same was true for the finish of the tour. Very professional - would recommend them highly.

Knowledgeable and engaging tour guide made the visit to Pompeii great. We booked at the last minute and Italy Adventure worked hard to accommodate us. Pick and drop off were easy and I would definitely use them again.
